MICHELE BUCK

Chairman of the Board
President and Chief Executive Officer

 
Michele Buck brings more than 25 years of consumer packaged goods experience to her role as Hershey’s Chairman of the Board of Directors and 12th President and Chief Executive Officer.  She has proven success transforming businesses and organizations to accelerate profitable growth and is motivated by harnessing others’ strengths, expertise and perspectives.
 
Buck has held several senior leadership roles within the company.  She served as Chief Operating Officer, leading Hershey’s day-to-day North American operations and overseeing Hershey’s operations in Central and South America.  And prior, she was President, U.S. and Chief Growth Officer.
 
Before joining Hershey in 2005, Buck served 17 years at Kraft/Nabisco in numerous senior positions and at the Frito-Lay division of PepsiCo.
 
She serves on the Board of Directors at New York Life, and as a Benefit Co-Chair for the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. A native of central Pennsylvania, Buck earned a bachelor’s at Shippensburg University and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Buck was recognized on Fortune’s Most Powerful Women list each year from 2017-2021.  She has two important roles – mom and business leader – that fulfill her life.

HECTOR DE LA BARREDA

Senior Vice President, Chief Global Business Platforms and Process Optimization Officer
 
Hector De La Barreda is responsible for leading enterprise business systems and commercial processes. As a seasoned senior executive with deep operational and general management experience, he guides the strategic direction of ways of working and process optimization for our teams around the world.
 
His record of success in Hershey’s international markets includes leading the growing Mexico business for many years and most recently leading Hershey Canada, the company’s second largest market, through a business transformation. He also led the company’s International Regional Markets (Latin America, Asia, Europe, Middle East & Africa). De la Barreda was most recently the President of fast-growing Amplify Snacks Brands – a key growth driver for Hershey.
 
Prior to joining Hershey, he served as CEO of a Coca-Cola joint venture that specialized in the dairy business. Before that, he led the Latin America Commercial Development team for Coca-Cola FEMSA, the largest Coca-Cola Bottler in the world.
 
De la Barreda has been a Board member of CONMEXICO, Enactus Mexico and recently in Food & Consumer Products of Canada. He holds a bachelor’s in actuarial sciences and post-graduate degree in Finance, both from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).

ROHIT GROVER

President, International
 

Rohit Grover is responsible for leading Hershey’s international business including its scale markets, focused emerging markets, and export priorities.

Grover has held a variety of senior management roles within The Hershey Company, including most recently as Vice President and General Manager, Greater China. Previously, he was General Manager of Hershey Canada and prior to this role, he was General Manager of Southeast Asia. He was also General Manager of the Middle East and led Hershey’s entry into the region.

Grover began his career in marketing at Colgate Palmolive and MTV in India and has since worked in nearly all of Hershey’s international markets.

A native of India, he holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami. In addition, he has attended several executive programs at the University of Chicago and Harvard Business School.

Kris Meulen

KRIS MEULEN

Chief Development Officer
 

Kris Meulen is responsible for driving cross-functional M&A capability and delivery, C7 ventures and inorganic growth platforms.  He brings more than 20 years of start-up and large cap operational, financial and corporate development experience across the food, beverage and technology industries.

Prior to his current position, he was the Vice President, M&A and Disruptive Growth at Hershey and has held senior leadership roles in Hershey’s Amplify Snacks and ONE Brands businesses.

Meulen has experience in Product Management and Business Development with CCC Information Services (now CCC Intelligent Solutions), Investment Banking experience with UBS and Morgan Stanley, where he was an Executive Director, and ABI InBev, where he was a Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions and Disruptive Growth with responsibility for its venture arm.

Meulen received bachelor’s degrees in mathematics, economics and statistics from the University of Chicago. He also received a Master of Business Administration, Finance and Accounting from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

CHARLES RAUP

President, U.S. Confection
 

Charles (Chuck) Raup leads Hershey’s flagship U.S. core confection business, expanding portfolio across the marketing, sales and go-to-market teams.  He guides the transformation of our commercial capabilities to create value through holistic and integrated planning of our commercial and category-leading expertise including through innovation and R&D, media, creative and intelligence and analytics.

Raup has broad experience leading snacking operations across candy, mint and gum. He has served in increasing roles of responsibility throughout his tenure with the company, most recently leading the turnaround of the core U.S. business. Before that, he was Vice President/General Manager of Hershey Mexico, improving its operations and performance.

Raup joined Hershey in 2009 after 13 years at Kraft Foods. He served seven years in the United States Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer.

He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s in business from Penn State University.

Raup is an active member of Horizons for Youth, an organization that provides scholarships, mentoring and enrichment programs for children in low-resource areas of Chicago.

JASON REIMAN

Senior Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer
 

Jason Reiman is responsible for all global supply chain-related strategies and activities including procurement, manufacturing, quality and regulatory, engineering, logistics, supply chain planning, as well as network strategy and optimization.

In his previous role as Vice President, Supply Chain Operations, Reiman worked directly with commercial business partners to drive superior quality, customer service, margin expansion and growth for the business. As Vice President, U.S. Supply Chain Operations and Vice President, AEMEA Supply Chain Operations, he was responsible for all supply chain activities for the regional businesses. He has also held roles including Vice President, Global Logistics, where he led the insights-driven supply chain as and eCommerce supply chain. Other previous roles at Hershey include Vice President, Global Customer Service, Planning & Logistics and Senior Director, Sales & Operations Planning, as well as a variety of positions in the areas of customer service, demand planning, production planning and inventory management. Before joining Hershey in 1996, Reiman worked as a supply chain consultant with Manugistics, Inc.

Reiman holds a bachelor’s degree in business logistics from Penn State University. He has also served on the board of directors for the Elizabethtown Public Library and co-chaired Hershey’s United Way Campaign. Jason was recognized with the 2015 Dr. Robert Pashek Award in Supply Chain, 2014 Consumer Goods Technology (CGT) Visionary Award as well as the Smeal College of Business 2013 Undergraduate Distinguished Achievement Award.

KRISTEN RIGGS

President, Salty Snacks
 

Kristen Riggs is responsible for building and scaling our salty snacks business – a key growth driver for Hershey.

Riggs is a dynamic Hershey veteran with marketing, sales and commercial operations experience leading billion-dollar businesses across brand marketing and sales. She has a proven track record of transforming operations and cultures to drive growth and profitability. As Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Planning, she led U.S. Volume Planning and Integrated Business Management along with a range of commercial strategic planning responsibilities.

Riggs joined Hershey in 2005 and has held a range of leadership roles including Chief Growth Officer, as well as roles in brand marketing, shopper marketing, global marketing, sales, the Reese’s brand and was Vice President/General Manager of Brand Commercialization.

Before joining Hershey, Riggs worked as an engineer for Samsung Semiconductor in Austin, Texas. Riggs holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and a bachelor’s from Purdue University.

CHRIS SCALIA

Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer


Chris Scalia is responsible for the company’s people and culture vision, strategy and execution. He brings a strong business acumen and passion for how talent and culture drive performance.

He has previously operated in senior executive roles leading Hershey’s global HR operations and business partner teams. He has also been responsible for talent planning and development, data and analytics, operational effectiveness as well as the strategic planning of Human Resources.

His leadership roles at Hershey have included Chief Talent Officer and Vice President, HR Business Partner of Global Functions as well as Senior Director, HR Business Partner of Global Supply Chain.

Scalia joined the company in 2005 in the legal department with an expertise in labor relations and transitioned to Human Resources in 2011.

He began his career in the HR Law Practice Group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, the world’s leading HR law practice. Scalia earned a Master of Human Resources from Cornell University, a Juris Doctorate from Penn State University, and a bachelor’s from Juniata College. He remains a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, Scalia actively mentors and advocates for children at risk, suicide prevention and the expansion of educational opportunities.

JAMES TUROFF

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
 

James Turoff is responsible for all legal department activities and strategies, including corporate governance, litigation, labor and employment, intellectual property and enterprise risk management, as well as ethics and compliance, government relations and security.

Turoff joined Hershey in March 2014 and has held multiple positions within the legal department during his tenure. Most recently, he served as Acting General Counsel.  From March 2019 through December 2020, he served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, where he had oversight responsibility for multiple commercial and corporate functions within the legal department. From March 2018 through February 2019, Turoff was the Vice President, SEC, Corporate Governance & Compliance and helped oversee all commercial and corporate Legal functions globally while Hershey searched for and transitioned to a new general counsel. Prior to that, he served as Associate General Counsel, Securities & Governance and Business Transformation and as Associate General Counsel, AEMEA and Securities & Governance.

Prior to Hershey, Turoff was the Assistant General Counsel, Corporate and Securities at Harsco Corporation.

Turoff holds a bachelor’s in political science and economics from Ashland University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law. He and his family reside in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

STEVE VOSKUIL

Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
 

Steve Voskuil oversees the global finance organization, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, internal audit and investor relations.

Prior to joining Hershey in May 2019, Voskuil was Chief Financial officer at Avanos Medical, a $700 million global medical device company, where he served since 2014. Avanos was previously branded as Halyard Health, Inc. before the sale of its $1 billion supplies division. Voskuil was also Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Halyard for four years where he led its successful spinoff from Kimberly-Clark. He previously served more than two decades as a finance executive at Kimberly-Clark and demonstrated strategic, operational and transformative leadership in addition to his deep financial expertise.

Voskuil has a bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Master of Science in management from Stanford Graduate School of Business, Palo Alto.
